🔹Scope of the Job:
We are looking for a skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for steel manufacturing and construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of steel fabrication processes, and great attention to detail to ensure accurate pricing and project profitability.
🔹Key Responsibilities:
Review project specifications, drawings, and plans to understand scope and timelines.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather all necessary data (materials, labor, fabrication processes).
Use estimating tools and software to prepare accurate and competitive project costs.
Research market prices and coordinate with procurement to get the best pricing and availability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals aligned with specifications and client requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and include contingency plans in estimates.
Support sales and project management teams in pricing strategies and client discussions.
Monitor estimation accuracy, provide financial performance reports, and suggest process improvements.
Participate in client meetings to explain and present cost estimates.
Assist in developing and managing project budgets to ensure profitability.
🔹Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office.
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
